In addition to its commitment to work on energy and infrastructure projects that have a direct and positive impact on the lives of Africans, Infra-Afrika Advisory is committed to making a difference in communities across the continent.
We are proud to be one the sponsors of Kagisano Foundation’s Mobile Reading Lab project. The project’s aim is to improve the reading skills of all grade one learners while developing their computer skills.
Kagisano Foundation launched the project at a primary school in Atteridgeville, a township in Pretoria. The Foundation provides all the resources (including a laptop, headset, mouse and a license for an award-winning learning program developed in Australia) for each grade 1 learner during the lesson. This allows each learner to learn and progress at their own pace without the fear of being laughed at, and as a result giving students the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.
We intend to offer more funding in 2020 to enable Kagisano Foundation to impact more learners in this project.
